Kenya is set to strengthen its partnership with Ghana, expanding collaboration across key sectors including trade, investment, agriculture, mining, tourism, and oil and gas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This move aims to unlock new economic opportunities and foster prosperity for the people of both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The commitment was made during a meeting between Kenyan President William Ruto and Ghana\u2019s President-elect John Dramani Mahama. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kenya will enhance her relations with Ghana to include more sectors in trade and investment, agriculture, mining, tourism, oil and gas. <\/p>
This will broaden opportunities for the people of the two countries and ensure our shared prosperity.<\/p>

The two leaders engaged in discussions about broadening intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), emphasising its potential to revolutionise economic integration on the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the talks, President Ruto expressed gratitude to President-elect Mahama for publicly endorsing Raila Odinga\u2019s candidacy for the African Union Commission chairperson role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Kenyan President also confirmed plans to attend Mahama\u2019s swearing-in ceremony in Accra next month.<\/p>\n\n
