Dear GhanaWeb,<\/p>\n

I first met Rachel during college, and we quickly became very close. We discovered that we shared similar interests, values, and a sense of humour. <\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t take long for us to realise that our friendship had blossomed into something deeper. <\/p>\n

As we journeyed through our relationship, we encountered several challenges. <\/p>\n

We came from different backgrounds, and our families had varying expectations for us. <\/p>\n

Despite these hurdles, our love for each other kept us strong. <\/p>\n

After graduating, we made the bold decision to move in together. It was an exciting yet nerve-wracking experience for both of us. <\/p>\n

We were in the process of creating a life together, uncertain of what the future held. <\/p>\n

Over time, we became even more connected. We began discussing our future, our dreams, and our goals. Both of us envisioned marriage, having children, and building a life together. <\/p>\n

However, something shifted. Rachel began to withdraw. She grew distant, and our conversations became increasingly tense. I attempted to address my concerns with her, but she simply dismissed them. <\/p>\n

I felt confused, hurt, and scared. I couldn\u2019t understand what was happening or how to fix it. It felt as though I was on the verge of losing the love of my life. <\/p>\n

One day, Rachel sat me down and explained that she needed some space. She said she was feeling overwhelmed in our relationship and needed time to sort through her feelings. <\/p>\n

I was heartbroken. My entire world felt like it had been turned upside down. I didn\u2019t know how to react or how to cope with my emotions. <\/p>\n

That was six months ago. Rachel and I are still together, but things have changed. We\u2019re taking things slowly, and she is still working through some personal issues. <\/p>\n

Now, I find myself needing guidance. I\u2019m torn between respecting Rachel\u2019s need for space and actively fighting for our relationship. I love her deeply, but I also want to make sure I don\u2019t lose myself in the process.<\/p>\n
