Despite the NDC&#8217;s protests, the Electoral Commission proceeded with the recount and ongoing compilation of the results of nine constituencies&#8217; parliamentary elections for the just concluded general election of 2024 on Friday, December 20, 2024.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nThe NDC asserted that it had obtained a court injunction that prevented the EC from proceeding with the declaration, which had been duly served on the commission, prior to the re-collation and re-declaration procedure.
