Some children come from impoverished backgrounds where their parents cannot provide for their basic needs, while others are trafficked from countries like Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Togo,&#8221; explained a social worker at Nyamedua Children&#8217;s Home. <\/p>\n<p>Nyamedua also has an in-house medical team that attends to the children&#8217;s needs, along with social workers and volunteers. <\/p>\n<p>Ernestina Serwaa Asante appealed to the public to support the Foundation so they can continue to bring smiles to the faces of these children.  <\/p>\n<p>Founder of Nyamedua Children&#8217;s Home, Paul Anaba, thanked the team for their kind gesture and encouraged the public to keep supporting orphanages and children&#8217;s homes. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanaweb.com\/imagelib\/src\/nyamedua_children's_home_2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.ghanaweb.com\/imagelib\/src\/nyamedua1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A photo of Ernestina Serwaa Asante and some children of Nyamedua Children&#8217;s Home The month of December has become synonymous with merry-making, acts of generosity and kindness as people across the world share in the joy of yuletide.
