A new date for the ceremony is yet to be announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe general public is hereby informed that the investiture ceremony of Prof. John Kwaku Mensah Mawutor as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, previously scheduled for Friday, 27th December 2024, has been postponed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-787-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032664287\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA new date for the investiture ceremony will be communicated in due course. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the university did not disclose reasons for the postponement, reports suggest potential legal complications may have influenced the decision. Rashid Ibrahim, an alumnus of UPSA, is said to have filed a court injunction to stop the ceremony.
