Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin has delivered a Christmas message to Ghanaians, emphasising the importance of unity and acceptance following the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the year, Bagbin called on all citizens to embrace the election results with humility and a commitment to nation-building.<\/p>\n

In his address, the Speaker highlighted the challenges faced during the year, including issues of governance, the economy, and democracy.<\/p>\n

Despite these hurdles, he encouraged Ghanaians to see them as opportunities for growth and to thank God for His blessings.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am happy that God has intervened in a rather very difficult election in this country. None of us thought that this would be the outcome of the 2024 general elections. But as God would have it, it has happened,\u201d Bagbin said.<\/p>\n

He urged all citizens to accept the outcome of the elections, attributing it to divine will.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy call to each and every one of us is to accept the results in humility, to agree that this is how the Almighty God wants it to be, and for us to reflect deeply, think into our souls and ourselves, and see what went wrong and what went right for each and every one of us, and also for the country.\u201d<\/p>\n
