{"id":270907,"date":"2024-12-26T12:35:39","date_gmt":"2024-12-26T12:35:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/26\/disregard-nominee-submission-directive-for-national-appointments\/"},"modified":"2024-12-26T12:35:39","modified_gmt":"2024-12-26T12:35:39","slug":"disregard-nominee-submission-directive-for-national-appointments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/26\/disregard-nominee-submission-directive-for-national-appointments\/","title":{"rendered":"Disregard nominee submission directive for national appointments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, has urged party members to disregard a circulating letter that calls for the submission of party nominees from constituencies for appointments.<\/p>\n<p>In the statement dated December 25, 2024, Ashie Moore clarified that he was not aware of any such notification from the apex level of the party.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that neither the regional executive committee had been consulted nor had they approved such a directive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is indeed a sole decision of the Regional Secretary without any recourse to laid down party structures.
