The MP recently raised the issue, highlighting the significant backlog and the negative impact it is having on the efficiency and credibility of the legislative body.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/5d5be8b7073c4749988fe0eb77187387\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Ablakwa pointed out that these delayed investigations, many of which involve serious allegations of misconduct and corruption, are undermining public trust in Parliament. He criticized the slow pace at which the Parliamentary Select Committees are addressing these cases, noting that such delays are preventing justice from being served and fostering a culture of impunity.<\/p>\n<p>The North Tongu MP emphasized that Parliament must take decisive action to address the issue, urging that there be a more streamlined and transparent process for handling these cases.
