In his Christmas message, Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has called on Ghanaians to embrace humility, unity, and reflection in the aftermath of the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acknowledging the year\u2019s challenges, he emphasised the need for reconciliation and collaboration to strengthen the nation\u2019s democratic and social fabric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy call to every one of us is to accept the results in humility, to agree that this is how the Almighty God wants it to be, and for us to reflect deeply on what went wrong and what went right,\u201d Mr Bagbin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Speaker praised Ghana\u2019s successful elections as a testament to the country\u2019s stability and democratic maturity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNone of us thought this would be the outcome of the 2024 general elections, but as God would have it, it has happened. We should thank ourselves and particularly the leadership of the country for this achievement,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
