The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25, following a brief illness.<\/p>\n<p>Heloo served as the MP for the Hohoe Constituency in the 6th and 7th Parliaments of Ghana\u2019s 4th Republic, from January 7, 2013, to January 6, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>She was also a former president of the Society for Women and AIDS in Africa and the founder of Prolink, a Ghanaian NGO.<\/p>\n<p>Her death has left the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region in mourning.
