Instead, it\u2019s NPP sympathizers who chose not to vote.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The reason is simple: the obscene arrogance of power and the inexplicable pride displayed by many of those the President trusted with key positions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This crushing defeat isn&#8217;t because we failed as a government to deliver but because of the internally-generated hatred caused by arrogance.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/6a4e5dbb1be34172aab5fb0a661bab11\"\/><\/p>\n<p>He added that national-level party officials must also be scrutinized for their roles in what he described as &#8220;acts of omission or commission.&#8221; Newton-Offei emphasized the importance of identifying and addressing this issue to prevent it from further damaging the party&#8217;s reputation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This malignant cancer, which has gained notoriety within the NPP over time, must be diagnosed and treated,&#8221; he urged.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He concluded by highlighting the cultural values of Ghanaians, stating that they are drawn to leaders with humility and despise haughtiness. &#8220;How can you do politics with pride?&#8221; he asked, stressing the need for a shift in the party\u2019s approach to leadership and engagement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sources:\u00a0Justice A.
