A former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, has questioned the source of wealth of the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.<\/p>\n According to him, the North Tongu legislator has so much wealth, including very expensive properties, even though he has no history of work before entering into politics.<\/p>\n Blay, who made these remarks in an interview on JoyNews on December 23, 2024, said that he has also been a Member of Parliament like Ablakwa but does not have the kind of wealth the MP has.<\/p>\n He added that while Ablakwa is saying that the source of his wealth is legitimate, he (Ablakwa) is accusing his son, Kwame Blay, of capturing state properties.<\/p>\n \u201cI have worked as a lawyer for 40 years, 40 years! He was not born then. He has property in other places that I can’t afford. He has never worked in his life except being a minister and a Member of Parliament – that is all.<\/p>\n \u201cOn his own, he has not done any work. I’ve been a Member of Parliament for 12 years.
