Bayer Leverkusen wing back Jeremie Frimpong is clearly enjoying his holiday stay in Ghana as a viral video of the Dutch international suggests the 24 year old is having a blast in Ghana\u2019s capital, Accra.<\/p>\n
Frimpong, who is of Ghanaian descent, arrived in Ghana for the Christmas holidays as the Bundesliga observes its annual winter break.<\/p>\n
On his arrival, Frimpong stated that he had always connected with his Ghanaian roots and in a widely circulated video on social media, the Bundesliga and German Cup champion put his \u201cGhanaian connection<\/strong>\u201d on full display by singing and dancing to Ghanaian artiste Kontihene\u2019s hit song \u201cEsi<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n After winning Bayer Leverkusen\u2019s first ever Bundesliga title last season, Frimpong stated on his arrival in Ghana that the German outfit\u2019s aim for the 2024-2025 season is to repeat the feat and avoid getting tagged as \u201cone season wonders<\/strong>\u201d.
