President-elect John Dramani Mahama will be inviting disaster if he removes the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Adukwei Mensa, according to former Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Professor Stephen Adei.<\/p>\n According to Prof. Adei, any such action by the new president, including the removal of the Chief Justice, Gertrude Torkornoo, will be a consolidation of a bad practice for which Ghanaians will pay.<\/p>\n \u201cIt will be disastrous; he will be consolidating a very bad practice which will not augur well for Ghana\u2019s future, whereby every president basically appoints a new EC.
