The re-collation, which saw the NPP winning seven out of nine contested constituencies, has sparked outrage within the NDC. The party has rejected the results, accusing the process of being \u201cillegal, manipulated, and a betrayal of Ghana\u2019s democracy.\u201d They claim the EC is engaged in an \u201cassault on democracy,\u201d with allegations of collusion between the commission, the police, and the military to favor the NPP.<\/p>\n
