The attack took place on a busy street, causing fear among residents and passersby.<\/p>\n<p>The officer, identified as Superintendent Kwame Boateng, was on duty when the armed robbers suddenly ambushed him. He was wearing plain clothes but was carrying his official weapon. Eyewitnesses say a group of armed men approached the officer, and before he could respond, they shot him. The officer fell to the ground, and the robbers quickly ran away from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>One local resident who witnessed the incident described it as terrifying<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was walking along the street when I heard gunshots,\u201d the witness said. \u201cI turned around and saw the officer lying on the ground. It was clear that he had been shot. The robbers didn\u2019t hesitate at all.
