{"id":269130,"date":"2024-12-21T19:26:28","date_gmt":"2024-12-21T19:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/21\/gpl-2024-25-vision-fc-score-late-to-deny-young-apostles-third-home-win\/"},"modified":"2024-12-21T19:26:28","modified_gmt":"2024-12-21T19:26:28","slug":"gpl-2024-25-vision-fc-score-late-to-deny-young-apostles-third-home-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/21\/gpl-2024-25-vision-fc-score-late-to-deny-young-apostles-third-home-win\/","title":{"rendered":"GPL 2024\/25: Vision FC score late to deny Young Apostles third home win\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<br><div id=\"article-text\">\n                       \n                        \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Young Apostles\u2019 hopes of picking up another win at home in the Ghana Premier League were dented in the dying moments of their game against Vision FC.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two newly promoted side faced each other at the Wechi Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 21, hoping to bounce back to winning ways.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Ramzy Abubakar\u2019s sixth minute strike was cancelled out by Emmanuel Atta Frimpong\u2019s late goal to end the game 1-1.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abubakar set the tone for the home side with a good strike after just six minutes played.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Young Apostles kept the ball and created chances in the opening half of the game but were unable to add to their lead.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They went into the break, however, as the better side having broken the deadlock earlier in the encounter.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vision FC return from recess rte more hungrier side, pressing and dominating the home side in the opening exchanges of the second half.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nana Agyemang\u2019s men, despite their attempts, failed to get the ball at the back of the net.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the game seemed to be heading in the way of Young Apostles, Vision FC had other ideas.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atta Frimpong netted a late equaliser to shut down the noise level in Wenchi, leading to a dramatic draw.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result means Young Apostles are now without a win in their last three games in the league, with two defeats and one draw.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vision FC on the other hand have amassed four points in their last two games having beaten Medeama last weekend.
