Ghanaian media personality and YouTuber Jessica Opare-Saforo, has given a piece of controversial advice to men in relationships. <\/p>\n In a recent video widely circulated on social media, the voice-over artist and former Miss Malaika host warned men against being focused entirely on one partner.<\/p>\n According to her, such fixations can lead to an obsession, which in turn can lead to severe consequences.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you’re putting all your energy into just one woman, you might be setting yourself up for heartbreak and disappointment. <\/p>\n “One minute you’re vibing with this woman, and the next you’re planning your entire schedule around when she’s free. You think you’re being dedicated, but what you’re really doing is losing yourself in the process,” she said.<\/p>\n She cautioned men about the risks of neglecting their personal lives and standards when they invest too much in a single person. <\/p>\n “Focusing too much on her too soon blinds you to everything else. You start ignoring your own needs, your personal life, and even your standards. Yeah, I said it. Your standards fly right out the window,” Jessica warned.<\/p>\n Jessica emphasised the consequences of over-investment, noting that women can sense when a man is overly attached. <\/p>\n “Women can sense when a guy is overly invested. When you’re chasing someone like that, it’s not a relationship. It’s you running after someone who hasn’t even committed,” she explained.<\/p>\n She urged men to avoid putting women on pedestals and losing themselves in the process. <\/p>\n “You’ve given her the power to dictate your emotions, your happiness, and your self-worth, all because you put too much focus on one woman. <\/p>\n “The truth is, every moment you spend obsessing over her is another moment you’re drifting away from your own goals and your own life,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n The former radio host also touched on the heartbreak that often follows such situations. <\/p>\n “When things don’t go the way you want, it hurts. Bad. You start questioning yourself\u2014why isn’t she responding? What did I do wrong?
