Ghanaian singer and songwriter, De Thompson DDT, has clarified that his song \u2018Honorable Waawe\u2019 was not created for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to use in trolling the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following the outcome of the December 7, 2024 elections. <\/p>\n In an interview with Amansan Krakye, the popular sound engineer explained that while the song has been used to mock those who lost in the 2024 polls, it was not composed with any particular political party in mind. <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t see it as people using my song Honorable Waawe to troll those who lost the 2024 elections. The real message of the song has been lost. What it basically means is that if you lose, it\u2019s because you didn\u2019t perform your duties properly. That\u2019s why you\u2019ve been voted out. So, next time, if you get the opportunity, you must perform well,\u201d he stated. <\/p>\n He further emphasised that the song was not intended for any specific party. <\/p>\n “I didn\u2019t create \u2018Honorable Waawe\u2019 for any particular political party. In four years, those laughing today might also be crying if they don\u2019t perform their responsibilities.
