Local investments include government securities, corporate bonds, equities, and real estate investment trusts (REITs), while offshore assets encompass sovereign bonds, corporate bonds, and equities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investors can request redemptions after 30 days and will receive their funds within three to five days of making such requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to <em>Joy Business<\/em>, Kofi El-Awuku highlighted the fund\u2019s objective to democratize investment opportunities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe do have our investment solution for high-net-worth clients with a minimum threshold of GHS 100,000. However, this excludes a significant portion of the investment public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The importance of this product, a mass or retail investment vehicle, is that it allows everyone with a minimum of GH\u00a2100 to participate in our collective investment schemes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added, \u201cWe aim to make investments more accessible to Ghanaians by leveraging the goodwill of our parent company, GCB Bank.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputy Director General (Legal) of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Deborah Agyemfra, assured that the Commission will continue to create an enabling environment for products like the <em>Golden Eagle Unit Trust<\/em> to deliver sustainable returns to investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fund is managed by GCB Capital, with Fidelity Bank serving as the trustee.
