In a recent appearance on United Showbiz, A Plus, who is the Member of Parliament-elect for Gomoa Central, expressed his frustration with Akufo-Addo\u2019s leadership, accusing him of damaging the party\u2019s tradition and contributing to its poor performance in the 2024 elections.<\/p>\n<p>A Plus argued that the NPP\u2019s defeat was largely due to Akufo-Addo\u2019s unpopular policies, such as the controversial haircut on investments and the betting tax. These policies, he claimed, alienated the youth and impoverished the middle class. He further emphasized that anyone who voted against Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia did so because of their dissatisfaction with Akufo-Addo\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n<p>Surprised that the party even attempted to campaign for the 2024 elections, A Plus urged the NPP to unite in these challenging times.
