The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has made history with the election of 32 female MPs into Ghana’s 9th Parliament. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the party’s commitment to promoting women’s participation in politics.

The 32 female NDC MPs come from various constituencies across the country. Some notable names include Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings from Klottey Korle, Dorcas Toffey from Jomoro, and Joana Gyan Cudjoe from Amenfi Central. These women, along with their colleagues, will play a crucial role in shaping the country’s future.

The election of these 32 female MPs is a significant milestone for Ghana’s democracy. It demonstrates the country’s progress in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment. The NDC’s commitment to women’s participation in politics is evident in the number of female candidates the party fielded in the recent elections.

As Ghana’s 9th Parliament begins, these 32 female NDC MPs will bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the table. They will work tirelessly to address the challenges facing their constituents and the country as a whole. Their election is a testament to the power of women’s leadership and a reminder that women can make a meaningful difference in politics.
