Shaib\u2019s victory strengthens the NPP\u2019s hold on the constituency and adds to its parliamentary representation.<\/p>\n<p>Presiding Member of the Assembly, Wilfred Ayitey Blankson, acknowledged the NDC\u2019s concerns over discrepancies in the parliamentary figures.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed worry over the potential escalation of tensions, citing the proximity of the Electoral Commission\u2019s office to the Assembly as a risk to its properties.<\/p>\n<p>Ayitey Blankson called on the Electoral Commission\u2019s leadership to address the issue promptly to maintain peace and order.<\/p>\n<p><figure>\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/e57a5afb7ed465ee44cdf59bbbc5f207\" alt=\"\" data-image-width=\"478\" data-image-height=\"932\"\/><br \/>\n       <\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to protect lives and properties. We are witnessing what is happening in other municipalities and regions. Furthermore, we don\u2019t want anything to happen in Weija Gbawe\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure>\n        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/88553ed5bc450865f0add692eb020ea2\" alt=\"\" data-image-width=\"477\" data-image-height=\"948\"\/><br \/>\n       <\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWe are for peace and we don\u2019t want our toil and the justice we deserve to be taken for granted.
