Member of Parliament elect for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, known popularly as A Plus, has questioned the commitment of the president to see to it that all official vehicles being used by his appointees are handed over to the state.<\/p>\n In a statement issued on December 11, 2024, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reminded his appointees that none of them had the right to acquire their official vehicles.<\/p>\n The appointees have until January 3, 2024, to hand over their vehicles to the chief director of the ministries and agencies they represent.<\/p>\n But speaking to OB on Accra-based Asempa FM, Kwame Asare Obeng, known as A Plus, indicated that he does not trust the president enough to believe he is committed to ensuring his appointees don\u2019t acquire their official vehicles.<\/p>\n To him, after the fight against Galamsey under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo failed when he even put his presidency on the line, he has since lost trust in him.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t trust Akufo-Addo, and I am not sure he will see to it that his people have adhered to the directive. A president who was lying about the fight against illegal mining can never be trusted.
