{"id":263262,"date":"2024-12-09T07:00:10","date_gmt":"2024-12-09T07:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/09\/ndc-will-exercise-its-parliamentary-majority-responsibly-fifi-kwetey\/"},"modified":"2024-12-09T07:00:10","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T07:00:10","slug":"ndc-will-exercise-its-parliamentary-majority-responsibly-fifi-kwetey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/09\/ndc-will-exercise-its-parliamentary-majority-responsibly-fifi-kwetey\/","title":{"rendered":"NDC will exercise its Parliamentary majority responsibly \u2013 Fifi Kwetey"},"content":{"rendered":"<br><div id=\"article-text\">\n                       \n                        \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reiterated its dedication to using its victory in the 7 December general elections as a foundation for advancing Ghana\u2019s development and prosperity.<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at a press conference held at the party&#8217;s headquarters on Sunday, 8 December, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the NDC&#8217;s General Secretary, affirmed the party&#8217;s commitment to responsible governance and the mandate entrusted to it by the electorate.<gwmw style=\"display:none;\"\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Kwetey also called on the Electoral Commission (EC) and its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, to avoid unnecessary delays in declaring the final results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He emphasised that the NDC is confident in the election&#8217;s outcome, describing the party\u2019s triumph as both significant and indisputable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have achieved a substantial majority, and we intend to utilise this mandate responsibly for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
