{"id":262985,"date":"2024-12-08T13:48:54","date_gmt":"2024-12-08T13:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/08\/ghanas-flawless-presidential-poll-shames-nigerias-inec\/"},"modified":"2024-12-08T13:48:54","modified_gmt":"2024-12-08T13:48:54","slug":"ghanas-flawless-presidential-poll-shames-nigerias-inec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/12\/08\/ghanas-flawless-presidential-poll-shames-nigerias-inec\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghana\u2019s flawless presidential poll shames Nigeria\u2019s INEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Ghana\u2019s former President John Dramani Mahama has staged a political comeback by winning the West African nation\u2019s presidential election after his rival Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia conceded defeat on Sunday.\n<\/p>\n<p>The conduct of the election and the behavior of the politicians in Ghana shames Nigeria\u2019s INEC that many Nigerians have called crocked.\n<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a press conference from his residence, Bawumia said he had called Mahama to congratulate him, adding that Mahama\u2019s National Democratic Congress (NDC) also won the parliamentary election.\n<\/p>\n<p>Let me say that the data from our own internal collation of the election results indicate that former President John Dramani Mahama has won the Presidential election decisively,\u201d Bawumia said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NDC has also won the parliamentary election.
