Confusion has erupted in the Korley Klottey constituency due to an alleged bribery of a Returning Officer by persons close to the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings.

GhanaWeb gathered that the incident took place after the MP for the area, Zenator Rawlings headed for her car after casting her vote.

An observer disclosed that one of the followers of Zanetor gave the returning officer money.

The returning officer, upon interrogation, confirmed that the money was meant for canopies.
