He outlined the challenges faced by Ghanaians under the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the past eight years, citing widespread suffering, disappointment, and a loss of hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He urged young voters to come out in their numbers to make a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYour statement on Saturday must tell the NPP and the rest of the world that enough is enough. The future of our young people depends on the victory of the NDC this Saturday,\u201d he said, calling the election a moment of destiny for the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Kwetey also warned against complacency, stressing the need for vigilance. He accused the NPP of being desperate to cling to power, claiming they would stop at nothing to secure victory. \u201cWe need to ensure that every single one of us fights to the very last minute,\u201d he urged supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citing the legacy of past Ghanaian leaders like Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Jerry John Rawlings, and Prof. John Atta Mills, Mr Kwetey emphasized the historical significance of the election. \u201cThey will be watching to see how ready you are to fight for our country,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cFight for Ghana, fight for the soul of Ghana, fight for the victory of this beautiful country.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr Kwetey acknowledged that the NDC itself must embrace transformation. He stressed that the party cannot afford to let Ghanaians down if they win power. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The NDC\u2019s return to power must not be \u201cbusiness as usual\u201d. \u201cResetting Ghana is not just about taking over from the NPP; it is about resetting the NDC itself.
