Ghanaian red carpet fashion critic Charlie Dior has claimed that celebrities such as Kuami Eugene, Diana Asamoah, and Nana Akua Addo have significantly improved their fashion sense as a result of his criticisms. <\/p>\n In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM on December 5, 2024, Charlie Dior was asked what comes to mind when people call him out on social media to which he responded: <\/p>\n \u201cMy criticism has made a lot of people improve their fashion, whether they admit it or not. I get a lot of feedback from fashion designers who say I\u2019ve put pressure on them, and that the designs they bring forward have improved as a result. <\/p>\n “I see the changes, especially on the red carpet and in public appearances, there\u2019s no denying my influence. I don\u2019t want to mention names, but I can say that Diana Asamoah has really taken my criticism to heart. She\u2019s still using one of my viral videos, \u2018Slay for Christ,\u2019 and now she\u2019s looking fashionable, big shoutout to her! <\/p>\n \u201cAs for Nana Akua Addo, the best-looking fashionable lady in Ghana, she knows about me and takes my critique seriously. She\u2019s mentioned me before, referenced me, so I definitely see my influence there,\u201d he stated. <\/p>\n He continued, \u201cKuami Eugene unfollowed me when he saw an old video of me criticizing him. I admit, I was very hard on him in the beginning. I once compared his suit to a couch, and I\u2019m not going to lie, it was tough. But when I\u2019m hard on someone, it\u2019s usually because I see potential in them. I\u2019m a big fan of Kuami Eugene, and I would give him the \u2018Most Improved\u2019 award. In the beginning, it was that bad, but now he\u2019s finding his style.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cKuami Eugene himself admitted that in the early stages of his career, he didn\u2019t want to invest too much in his looks because, honestly, looking good costs money. People spend a lot to look good, and he wasn\u2019t ready for that. But now, he\u2019s figuring things out, finding his style, and he\u2019s still very young. With time, I\u2019m sure he\u2019ll continue to evolve.\u201d <\/p>\n He reiterated his impact on the fashion industry in Ghana. <\/p>\n \u201cRight now, when Ghanaians hear the name Charlie Dior, everyone knows I\u2019m a fashion critic. If you\u2019re being honest with yourselves, I hear from celebrities all the time.
