Wife of Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the leader of the Movement for Change, has sparked discussions with her bold assertion that her husband’s knowledge far outweighs that of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking during an interview, Madam Patricia Christabel Kyerematen, addressed the question of why Alan Kyerematen declined the opportunity to serve as Dr. Bawumia’s running mate.

She could not seem to accept the requirement that her husband would work as a subordinate to Bawumia.

“The knowledge that my husband, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, has—does Vice President Dr. Bawumia even have a quarter of it?,” she charged.

Madam Patricia lauded her husband as a man of the highest integrity, describing him as unique, laid-back, calculated, and spiritually attuned.

She added that he is wise and has a thoughtful approach to leadership, knowing when to speak and when to remain silent.

“After 40 years of marriage, I can confidently say my husband is wise beyond measure and deeply grounded spiritually. There’s a time for everything under this sun, and he understands this principle better than anyone,” she added.

On the real reason Alan Kyerematen left the NPP to form his own party, Madam Patricia declined to comment.

Her assertion come at a time when political allegiances are being questioned ahead of Ghana’s next general elections.
