At first, I really wanted to help her, but I felt like it was too soon for her to move in with me, so I decided to let things be. <\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the thing: she\u2019s been jobless for a while, and I\u2019ve been trying to find work for her. I found her a decent job, but the night before she was supposed to start, she called me at dawn saying she couldn\u2019t go because she was feeling sick.  <\/p>\n<p>I told her to rest and get better, but by the time she recovered, the woman had already hired someone else. So, we had to start looking for another job. <\/p>\n<p>I found another job for her, and she got it. The first day she was supposed to start was the same day she got kicked out of her aunt\u2019s place. She told me she would be staying with her mother\u2019s friend temporarily, but the commute to work was too far and \u201cscary\u201d because she\u2019d have to wake up really early. <\/p>\n<p>I suggested she call her new employer and explain the situation. She did, but the woman said she couldn\u2019t start in the morning, so my girlfriend needed to find another job. I agreed and helped her look for yet another job. I even told her to go meet with the manager to see if she could get hired. <\/p>\n<p>But, guess what? She called again saying she was sick and couldn\u2019t go see the manager. Now she\u2019s sitting at home, still jobless, and asking me for money to cover her basic needs. I\u2019ve been giving her some support, but I feel like I\u2019m enabling her instead of helping her get on her feet. <\/p>\n<p>Today, I called to check in and asked if she had gone to see the manager yet. She started with, \u201cI told you I\u2019m sick, and now my brother is ill too. I don\u2019t have money for his medical bills, and I\u2019m also suffering from an ulcer, I need medicine but I can\u2019t afford it. Can you send me some money?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>At this point, I\u2019m starting to feel like she might be taking advantage of me. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s too soon to dump her or if she\u2019s just genuinely struggling. Maybe I\u2019ve been too generous financially, and she\u2019s just getting too comfortable. <\/p>\n<p>What should I do?
