A stalwart of the New Patriotic Party, Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has suggested that the country’s local currency is warning Ghanaians against voting for change. <\/p>\n According to him, the cedi has begun gaining strength a few days before the 2024 elections. <\/p>\n With just four days to the December 7 elections, the NPP stalwart has been seen strongly advocating for a Bawumia-led government.<\/p>\n Taking to his X page (formerly Twitter) on December 3, 2024, he wrote: “It looks like the cedi is itself warning Ghanaians against change.
