The journey hasn\u2019t been easy because we meet every evening after work and look at how you go through the stress during the day at the workplace and you have to come and prepare yourself to study for about 2-3 hours. It hasn\u2019t been easy but we motivated each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt hasn\u2019t been easy at all and we believed in God. Everything we learnt, everything we studied, we are going to bring it into the office and we going to implement everything we learnt and studied as a group,\u201d Gifty Addo-Kissi said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1113498\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1113498\" style=\"width: 1600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1113498\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hr-13.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\"  \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1113498\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gifty Addo-Kissi said.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Delivering his keynote address as the Guest of Honor, the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Professor Samuel Antwi, highlighted the critical role of agile HR practices in fostering sustainable success for both employees and organizations.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1113496\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1113496\" style=\"width: 1600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1113496\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hr-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\"  \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1113496\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A), Professor Samuel Antwi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He underscored the importance of leveraging data to inform strategic decisions, especially in navigating the complexities of modern business environments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will give you a few things to think about as this shift requires a multifaceted approach. Think about data-driven decision-making. It is not all about this is how we used to do it. Let your data speak to you. All this plenty of performance appraisal you worry us with what do you do with it? Every day we fill, we write. You don\u2019t do anything about it. Go and do something about it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo let data drive your decisions. Empower the employees. There are too many employees that are not empowered. What they knew 20 years ago is the same thing they are doing and no improvement, HR director, you are always on us that change must come. How will it come? Let the data speak to you and look at individuals, department levels\u2026.how can we improve?\u201d he posited.<\/p>\n<p>Founder and Chairman of the HR Certification Center, Dr. Jeff Bassay, on his part emphasized the importance of prioritizing employee engagement as a cornerstone of organizational success.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1113497\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1113497\" style=\"width: 1600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1113497\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hr-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\"  \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1113497\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dr. Jeff Bassay<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He noted that engaged employees are more likely to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo organization will outgrow the collective knowledge and experiences of those who ran it. Organizations level of success will always be commensurate to the knowledge and experience of those who ran it. Lens number 2 is the organization\u2019s customer satisfaction and that\u2019s quite different from sales\u2026where people are satisfied with you when they buy your services and product and of course, the third is the organization\u2019s cash flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at it very carefully, you will realize that the second is heavily reliant on the first one. Once you miss out on your people\u2019s engagement, chances are that your customer satisfaction beat may not go well \u2026chances are that you might as well forget about your cash flow,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1113501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hr-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1600\" height=\"900\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>The event also featured two insightful panel discussions. The first panel discussion, themed \u201cEmployee Experience in the Digital Age,\u201d highlighted the growing importance of safeguarding employee data privacy.
