Abena, who voiced her complaint on Auntie Naa’s Oyerepa Afutuo show, revealed that her lover, who lives in the UK, left her to wed someone else after they had been together for a number of years.

In the tearful video, Abena described how the man’s mother offered her GH¢15,000 in compensation, evicted her from his home, and rented her an apartment for two years, according to YEN. Abena turned down this offer, stating that she would require GH¢1 million in compensation for her time and emotional investment if she were to move away. Abena went on to say that she had three children and told her ex-boyfriend she was pregnant when they first met. He consented to date her in spite of this, but he later dumped her for another lady. Online reactions to her pleas have been divided, with many netizens expressing shock at the substantial amount she sought.

“I have five direct bros; someone should try this on any of them and see,” wrote user @Kwadwo Kwadwo in a remark. “Does she know the amount she’s mentioning?” asked @Mystical660, one of the others who questioned her interest. Others have shown sympathy for Abena’s emotional suffering due to the breakup, while others have chastised her for having such high expectations. Relationships are complicated, as this story demonstrates, particularly when one partner feels deceived after years of emotional engagement. Abena’s story has undoubtedly drawn attention, sparking discussions on social media regarding the emotional toll of broken relationships and the reasonableness of her demands.

Source:

https://yen.com.gh/people/family-relationships/272201-ghanaian-woman-seeks-ghc1million-compensation-boyfriend-wasting-time/

This blog is managed by the content creator and not GhanaWeb, its affiliates, or employees.
