Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, has projected that the 2024 general elections will conclude in a decisive first-round victory.<\/p>\n
According to Dankwah, former President John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, is poised to win outright without necessitating a runoff.<\/p>\n
He also predicts that the NDC will secure a parliamentary majority.<\/p>\n
Speaking in an interview with Bernard Avle on The Point of View<\/em> on Channel One TV, Dankwah\u2019s projections sharply contrast with those of Prof. Smart Sarpong, Director of Research and Innovation at Kumasi Technical University.<\/p>\n Prof. Sarpong\u2019s recent poll suggests that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will retain its parliamentary majority. He also predicts that NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will lead the polls with 49.1% of the votes, compared to Mahama\u2019s 45.8%, potentially resulting in a runoff.<\/p>\n Dankwah\u2019s own survey indicates a contrasting outcome, showing Mahama ahead with 51.9% of voter support, while Dr. Bawumia follows with 40.5%.
