The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi), has slammed the leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen, for his criticism of former President John Agyekum Kufuor.<\/p>\n Alan criticised Kufuor for saying that NPP presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the best person to lead the country at this moment.<\/p>\n Reacting to this at a press briefing in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Wontumi accused the leader of the Movement for Change, an independent candidate in the upcoming 2024 general election, of being ungrateful.<\/p>\n He accused Alan of betraying the NPP, which he said gave him everything.<\/p>\n \u201cOne gentleman who was with us called Alan Kyerematen has shown clearly through his actions that he has never loved the NPP, and just as Judas betrayed Jesus, that is how Alan Kyerematen has betrayed the NPP and President Kufuor.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was J.A.
