{"id":254232,"date":"2024-11-21T21:31:34","date_gmt":"2024-11-21T21:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/11\/21\/alan-announces-plans-to-revoltionalise-health-sector-in-bono-region\/"},"modified":"2024-11-21T21:31:34","modified_gmt":"2024-11-21T21:31:34","slug":"alan-announces-plans-to-revoltionalise-health-sector-in-bono-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/11\/21\/alan-announces-plans-to-revoltionalise-health-sector-in-bono-region\/","title":{"rendered":"Alan announces plans to revoltionalise health sector in Bono Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Ahead of the 2024 elections, Alan Kyerematen, an independent presidential candidate and leader of the Movement for Change, has announced an ambitious plan to revolutionise the health sector in Bono Region.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to nursing and midwifery students of the Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Sunyani and other health professionals in the Bono Region, Mr. Kyerematen outlined key policies that prioritise the welfare of healthcare workers while addressing the nation\u2019s healthcare challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Among the initiatives is the restructuring of the Nursing Training Allowance to make it sustainable.<\/p>\n<p>According to Alan Kyerematen, the allowance\u2019s current form is being used as a tool for political manipulation by the NDC and NPP.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe current system is unsustainable and often serves as a bait for political gains. Under my leadership, the Nursing Training Allowance will be reformed to ensure it supports students effectively while being economically viable for the long term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is not enough to simply complete school. The most important thing is that after completing your training, you have jobs waiting for you,\u201d he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Alan Kyerematen also pledged to improve the conditions of service for health professionals, acknowledging their indispensable role in society.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour efforts ensure that we live long and enjoy good health here on earth.
