Mr Mahama fully paid for the $25,000 required for the surgery after hearing Rosemary\u2019s story through a JoyNews feature titled \u201cDialysis at 13\u201d produced by Emmanuel Dzivenu.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<figure>\n       <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/vlcsnap-2024-11-15-22h00m03s428.jpg\" alt=\"Dialysis At 13; Rafik Mahama visits Rosemary Boadu\" data-image-width=\"800\" data-image-height=\"450\"\/> <\/figure>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAs part of the visit, Rafik Mahama presented GHS20,000 to Rosemary and her family to support their upkeep ahead of the medical procedure. Speaking during the visit, he explained Mr Mahama\u2019s motivation for stepping in to help.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<figure>\n       <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Dialysis-At-13-Rafik-Mahama-visits-Rosemary-Boadu-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-image-width=\"800\" data-image-height=\"450\"\/> <\/figure>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cRosemary\u2019s story deeply touched my boss\u2019 heart. The very morning he saw the feature, he instructed us to make the payment immediately because he couldn\u2019t bear to see the young girl in pain. By 9 a.m., the transaction was completed. Today, I\u2019m here to ensure that the family is ready for the journey ahead. He wanted me to check on them and ensure everything was fine before they left for the hospital. That\u2019s why I came here this morning\u2014to see the family and meet my daughter. I\u2019m very happy to see them.&#8221;\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t&#8220;I also want to say that this is something we do all the time. Most of the time, we handle larger health issues quietly, flying people outside the country to seek healthcare. It\u2019s usually only when the media reports on these cases that our interventions become public. We engage in a lot of philanthropic work across various sectors.&#8221;\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<figure>\n       <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/vlcsnap-2024-11-15-21h57m27s775.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-image-width=\"800\" data-image-height=\"450\"\/> <\/figure>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tRosemary, visibly emotional, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the support.\u00a0\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cI never thought something like this could happen to me. God bless Mr Ibrahim Mahama and everyone who has supported me. Wherever you took the money from, God will refill it a hundred times.
