Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians to reject the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, accusing it of causing widespread hardship.<\/p>\n
During a courtesy call on the Regent of Wungu, Sulemana Saka Adams, in Walewale, North East Region, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang encouraged voters to support NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming December 7 general elections.<\/p>\n
She emphasized that a vote for Mahama and the NDC would help \u201creset\u201d the country and improve the well-being of all Ghanaians.<\/p>\n
\u201cI doubt if any of our predecessors would have thought that the most important thing to do at this time is to go and unveil a statue to themselves.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to end here by thanking you and your elders for accepting us. And again, to appeal that we all come together and vote and bring in a government that is not an angel but we know he will do the best for his people and leave a good legacy.\u201d<\/p>\n
The NDC\u2019s running mate is expected to continue day two of her tour of the North East Region.<\/p>\n
