The Deputy Director responsible for training at the Electoral Commission, Dr. Serebour Quicoe, has asked the media to prioritise verifying the information they share during the December polls.<\/p>\n Speaking to the media on the sidelines of a training event organised by Penplusbytes, the Deputy Director expressed his fears about the potential risks of disinformation going into the December 7, 2024, general election.<\/p>\n “My greatest fear for the 2024 election is misinformation because both traditional and social media at times are in a hurry to put forward information without checking its authenticity.
