Gyan-Kontoh.<\/p>\n<p>On the previous occasion, the court had adjourned the application after a request by Edudzie Tamakloe, one of the lead counsels representing Joana Gyan Cudjoe.<\/p>\n<p>Tamakloe urged the court to consider the substantive disqualification case, noting that any further delay could disenfranchise his client and prevent her from participating in the December 7 parliamentary election.<\/p>\n<p>His Lordship Gyan-Kontoh agreed to review the substantive case, emphasizing the importance of resolving the matter promptly. He also encouraged the parties involved to explore the possibility of an out-of-court settlement before the scheduled hearing.<\/p>\n<p>However, negotiations for an out-of-court resolution did not materialize, and today\u2019s ruling lifted the injunction, allowing Joana Gyan Cudjoe to proceed with her candidacy.<\/p>\n<p>The case has now been resolved in time for the upcoming elections, clearing the path for the NDC candidate to contest the Amenfi Central seat.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the media after the court ruling, Cudjoe noted \u201cWe thank God for everything that has happened today especially also my new lawyers who came in to rescue me\u2026I thank God and all the NDC members, executives, all the Western region NDC.
