Kpebu believes that Afenyo-Markin’s claims are a deliberate attempt to divert attention from the NPP’s internal challenges, particularly their struggles with parliamentary numbers.

According to report, Afenyo-Markin, who leads the NPP caucus in Parliament, has been vocal about his concerns regarding the Speaker’s decisions and the actions of opposition members. He has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of inciting confusion and unrest within Parliament. However, Kpebu argues that rather than focusing on external factors, Afenyo-Markin should acknowledge the NPP’s own issues.

Kpebu pointed out that the NPP is currently facing difficulties in maintaining a majority in Parliament due to recent resignations and disqualifications of some of its members. This situation has led to a significant number of vacant seats, which has become a contentious issue among lawmakers. The struggle for power and representation has intensified as both parties vie for control.

In his remarks, Kpebu stated that Afenyo-Markin’s accusations serve as a distraction from these pressing internal problems. He emphasised that instead of pointing fingers at the NDC, it would be more productive for the NPP to address its own shortcomings. Kpebu believes that acknowledging these issues is essential for restoring order and unity within the party.

” They Are Trying to Rig Election ” – Martin Kpebu Raises Alarm, Accuses Party Of Manipulating Poll News Hub Creator1h Martin Kpebu has recently commented on the ongoing political tensions within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), specifically addressing the accusations made by Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
