We must help people understand that food preparation, manufacturing, and anything related to food should be grounded in proper science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032629466 lazyload ewww_webp_lazy_load\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/6W0A7529.jpg\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" data-eio-rwidth=\"800\" data-eio-rheight=\"533\" src-webp=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/6W0A7529.jpg.webp\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.myjoyonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/6W0A7529.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10032629466\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" data-eio=\"l\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I believe we should aim to take typical Ghanaian foods beyond our borders. This will help build our local industry and ensure that the food we consume is nutritionally balanced,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was held under the theme: \u201cAdvancing Ghana\u2019s agripreneurship through food science and technology: The role of GhAFoST.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vice President Prof. Mrs Sarah Darkwa urged the association to focus on creating high-value products from agricultural produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe should develop novel food products and technologies and start managing food-based businesses.
