He called on both regional and national security agencies to ensure a safer environment for all citizens, regardless of political affiliation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing an NDC member in Ashanti Region in itself is a threat, people will insult you, your own family members, it\u2019s a threat to be an NDC member in Ashanti Region. The other aspect of it is that we the Asante NDC people don\u2019t come forward, we\u2019re always hiding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s time we came forward, that will give us the protection and it\u2019s also because we have not let people understand our history, developmental challenges and our needs.
