News of Donkor\u2019s death surfaced this morning, confirming that she passed away around 10 p.m. the previous night.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAkua Donkor, who was also the founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), was reportedly admitted to Nsawam Government Hospital with respiratory issues. Due to the lack of an ICU, she was referred to Ridge Hospital, where she eventually died.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\tNana Romeo voiced his concerns: \u201cIf Nsawam Hospital had an ICU, Akua Donkor might still be with us. Imagine the distance from Nsawam to Ridge for a patient with breathing issues. The roads are under construction, slowing down the ambulance.
