{"id":240176,"date":"2024-10-27T15:00:08","date_gmt":"2024-10-27T15:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/10\/27\/ghana-enterprises-agency-opens-ghana-mall-to-boost-visibility-of-made-in-ghana-products\/"},"modified":"2024-10-27T15:00:08","modified_gmt":"2024-10-27T15:00:08","slug":"ghana-enterprises-agency-opens-ghana-mall-to-boost-visibility-of-made-in-ghana-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/10\/27\/ghana-enterprises-agency-opens-ghana-mall-to-boost-visibility-of-made-in-ghana-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghana Enterprises Agency opens Ghana Mall to boost visibility of Made-in-Ghana products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Accra, Oct. 27, GNA \u2013 The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation has officially launched the Ghana Mall, a vibrant marketplace for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to showcase their products and services.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Mall will provide over 800 local entrepreneurs the visibility for their Made-in-Ghana products, demonstrating government\u2019s support for initiatives that strengthen local businesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Ghana Mall is the focal point of the BizBox Project, an initiative designed to support the development of 250,000 young entrepreneurs across the country.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Through this mall, the small businesses would gain access to a wider market, helping them increase\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>revenue while fostering valuable business-to-business (B2B) networking opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Kosi Yankey-Ayeh, CEO of GEA, highlighted the agency\u2019s dedication to SME growth, emphasizing the vision of creating a space where local SMEs can thrive, sell their products, and secure funding for sustainable growth.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She noted that their approach went beyond funding and capacity-building, extending to critical market access.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough strategic partnerships, including with the private sector, the Ghana Mall represents just the beginning of more opportunities to come,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hope and our goal is to have it in every region where people, MSMEs, can bring their products, where we can engage as a hub and discuss issues that are important to the MSME sector, \u201d Mrs Yankey-Ayeh added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She lauded the government and Mastercard Foundation for their unflinching commitment and\u00a0dedication to supporting the MSMEs in the past years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday we are here to open this facility because we strongly believe that the backbone of this economy is MSMEs.
