Ghana defender Abdul Mumin has added another accolade to his impressive season, being named Rayo Vallecano\u2019s Player of the Month for September.<\/p>\n

The hardworking centre-back received the award on Wednesday at the club\u2019s training grounds.<\/p>\n

This is Mumin\u2019s second award of the season, following his La Liga Goal of the Month recognition for a stunning strike against CA Osasuna.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old has been a standout performer for Vallecano, making 10 appearances so far and scoring one goal.<\/p>\n

Mumin’s form has also cemented his place in Ghana’s senior national team, with two appearances in the Black Stars\u2019 recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.<\/p>\n

Regarded as one of Europe\u2019s most promising defenders, his stock continues to rise.<\/p>\n

He is under contract with the Madrid-based club until June 2026, having joined from Vit\u00f3ria S.C. in September 2022.<\/p>\n
