The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has expressed disappointment and frustration with some of its appointees who have become disconnected from their base.<\/p>\n
This comes after General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong\u2019s recent tour of the Bono Region, where he gathered feedback from supporters and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
In a statement on his Facebook page, Kodua warned the appointees to re-engage with their constituents and address their concerns, or face public exposure.<\/p>\n
\u201cRegional Tour Update: Feedback from my tour of the Bono region shows that some appointees have lost touch with their base. Don\u2019t force me to start mentioning names; do the needful,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Kodua\u2019s statement is a clear call for action, urging the appointees to take immediate steps to rectify the situation.<\/p>\n
The party is concerned that the disconnect between appointees and the grassroots could have negative consequences in the upcoming December 7th polls.<\/p>\n
The General Secretary\u2019s tour of the Bono Region was part of the party\u2019s efforts to assess its performance and gather feedback from supporters.<\/p>\n
During his visit, he interacted with various stakeholders, including party members, traditional leaders, and community groups.<\/p>\n
The feedback from the tour revealed that some appointees have become complacent and are no longer serving the interests of the party and its supporters.<\/p>\n
This has led to widespread discontent among the grassroots, who feel neglected and ignored.<\/p>\n
As the December 7th polls approach, the NPP is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to retain power.<\/p>\n
However, the party is urging its appointees to take immediate action to address the concerns of their constituents and re-establish connections with the grassroots.<\/p>\n
