{"id":173661,"date":"2024-04-21T18:58:10","date_gmt":"2024-04-21T18:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/04\/21\/imf-positive-about-ghanas-economic-performance\/"},"modified":"2024-04-21T18:58:10","modified_gmt":"2024-04-21T18:58:10","slug":"imf-positive-about-ghanas-economic-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/2024\/04\/21\/imf-positive-about-ghanas-economic-performance\/","title":{"rendered":"IMF positive about Ghana&#8217;s economic performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Ghana\u2019s Finance Minister, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has revealed that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is pleased and optimistic about Ghana\u2019s economic performance.<\/p>\n<p>He reassured Ghanaians that the government will continue to strive for excellence in managing the economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can tell you that the fund is pretty happy and they are very positive about our performance and we will continue to do the best we can under the leadership of our president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to give good accounts of ourselves in the management of the economy,\u201d Dr Adam stated during a press conference following the Spring Meetings in Washington on Sunday, April 21, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Finance Minister added that, given Ghana\u2019s performance so far, the IMF will approve the second review, leading to the release of $360 million.
