There is an added weight of expectation on whoever replaces Klopp at Anfield due to his heavy legacy, and Alonso believes he could \u2018lose more than win\u2019 despite being a fan-favourite during his playing days.<\/p>\n<p>Bayern have now opened discussions with Alonso, who could cost the reigning German champions \u20ac25m to release from his current contract as his \u20ac15m release clause does not become active until the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghanamma.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/01hr70h5fpsrafggzf7r.jpg\" alt=\"FBL-ENG-FACUP-CHELSEA-LIVERPOOL\" title=\"FBL-ENG-FACUP-CHELSEA-LIVERPOOL\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Klopp and Tuchel are both leaving their respective roles \/ GLYN KIRK\/GettyImages<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<p>Thomas Tuchel has already announced he will stand down from his role at Bayern at the end of the season, though\u00a0<em>Sky Sport Germany<\/em>\u00a0reported on Monday he\u00a0could be sacked immediately\u00a0if they are eliminated from the Champions League at the last 16 stage this week. They welcome Lazio to Bavaria on Tuesday looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg.<\/p>\n<p>Bayern\u00a0trail Leverkusen in the Bundesliga standings by ten points with only ten matches remaining.
